A curiosity engine for going 10 levels deep
10deep turns idle curiosity into a guided journey. Pick any topic and descend through ten levels — each one deeper and more surprising than the last, powered by AI.
Everyone knows the feeling of falling down a rabbit hole: one question leads to another, an hour disappears, and you come out the other side knowing something you never expected to care about. It's one of the most satisfying things the internet ever gave us. It's also become harder to find. Most apps are built to keep you scrolling a feed, not to take you somewhere. 10deep was built to bring the rabbit hole back — on purpose.
What 10deep is
10deep is a mobile app for exploring any subject in layers. You start with a topic — "Why do we dream?", "How do black holes form?", "What actually happened during the fall of Rome?" — and the app reveals a short, fascinating fact. Then you decide where to go next. Ten levels later, you've built a complete trail: a self-contained journey from a simple question to something genuinely deep.
Every answer is concise by design. There's no wall of text and no ten-minute article to wade through — just a few sentences per level, so the momentum never breaks. The goal is the feeling of discovery, level after level, in the few minutes you'd otherwise spend scrolling.
How it works
At each of the ten levels, you choose how your journey continues:
- Go Deeper — dig further into the current idea and uncover the layer beneath it.
- Wander — jump to a related tangent and discover an unexpected connection.
- Redirect — ask your own question and steer the trail wherever your curiosity points.
Because you make those choices, no two trails are the same. The same starting topic can take ten different people in ten different directions.
Who it's for
10deep is for anyone who likes to learn for the fun of it. Students use it for study breaks and to understand hard concepts one layer at a time. Parents use it to keep up with their kids' endless "why" questions. Teachers and homeschoolers use it to find lesson hooks and discussion starters. Podcasters and writers use it to spin up background and find surprising angles fast. And plenty of people just use it because falling down a good rabbit hole is more rewarding than another lap through a feed. You can read more on our use cases page.
Why we built it
We built 10deep because curiosity deserves better tools. The web made information infinite but exploration shallow — you can find anything, yet it's surprisingly hard to follow a thread of interest somewhere meaningful without forty open tabs and a lot of skimming. We wanted depth to feel as effortless as scrolling: pick a thread, pull it, and let each tug reveal something more interesting than the last. That's the whole idea behind going ten levels deep.
How we think about content
10deep's answers are generated by AI and kept short, clear, and on-point. The app is rated 13+ and content is kept family-friendly, so it's something you can hand to a curious kid or explore together. And anything you discover can be shared: every completed trail becomes a public link that shows the full ten-level journey in any browser — no app required — so a rabbit hole you loved can become someone else's.
